Day 6 — Restoration of Hope and Strength

Scripture

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

Reflection

There are seasons when life seems to demand more strength than we possess. Unemployment, financial hardship, bereavement, illness and repeated disappointments can leave us feeling exhausted.

God's Word assures us that those who wait upon Him can receive renewed strength. Waiting on God is not passive resignation. It includes prayer, perseverance, wise decisions and faithful action.

Restoration may begin through a small opportunity, an encouraging conversation, a new skill or the courage to try again.

Today, ask God to restore your hope. Do not measure your future only by your present difficulties. Trust Him for strength to fulfil today's responsibilities while working patiently towards a better tomorrow.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, renew my strength and restore my hope.

Where I have experienced disappointment, give me courage to begin again. Where opportunities seem closed, grant me wisdom to recognise new possibilities.

Bless the work of my hands and guide my decisions. Provide for families struggling with financial hardship, unemployment and uncertainty.

Help me to remain faithful, diligent and grateful in every season.

Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
