Day 1 — Jesus Christ, Our Deliverer

Scripture

John 8:36 (KJV)
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Reflection

True deliverance begins with Jesus Christ. Many people carry invisible burdens: fear, guilt, discouragement, painful memories and habits that seem impossible to overcome. Yet the Word of God reminds us that freedom is found in the Son of God.

Jesus does not invite us to live permanently under the weight of our past. He calls us to repentance, forgiveness and a new beginning. Whatever has weakened our relationship with God, we can bring it before Him with confidence.

Today, surrender every burden to Jesus. Ask Him to renew your heart, strengthen your will and guide you into the freedom that comes from knowing and following Him.

Prayer

Prayer
Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Have mercy on me and forgive my sins. Break the power of fear, guilt, destructive habits and every influence that draws me away from You.
Lord Jesus, fill my heart with Your truth and peace. Strengthen me to reject evil, overcome temptation and walk in righteousness.

Let Your light shine upon every dark area of my life. Restore my confidence in Your promises and lead me into genuine spiritual freedom.
In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
